Some of you may remember a couple of years ago, when a Google search for ‘I Love Jews’ returned a spelling suggestion ‘I Love Jesus’. Well this was sorted out farily quickly when it was bought to attention. At the time this was deffintely considerd a Google ‘hand job’, but, is it still the case.
Today the same search returns over 10,000 pages. This many results should be enough to choke the query modifier. In fact a search for ‘I love jewr’ returns the suggestion ‘Did you mean Jews’ – suggesting that the term ‘I love jews’ is fairly established within the Google index – probably because people like me keeps on talking about it
