Beating the Google sandbox
Just when you thought we’d kicked this subject to death -there’s actually quite an interesting article on SEOMOZ
I tend to agree with most of what it has to say, though, I’m not too sure about the practicality of the solution suggested - building links to trusted sites that links to you. Guess the theory is, help the trusted site to acquire all the other link factors, so they have more power to pass on to you, but more importantly, get direct traffic from the linking site. Great if you can get a page dedicated to you, else you’d be helping all your competitors as well as the linking site. Still, I like the theory and the next time I have to deal with a brand new domain I can pass on this advice.
